eCommerce Executive

We’re looking for a hungry, talented and smart person to join us as an eCommerce Executive.

You will be part of a team responsible for the day-to-day running – and relentless improvement of – the Cubitts website, encompassing trading, proposition and merchandising, optimisation and UX.

You will keep the site impeccably merchandised, and support the Commercial Director in testing and developing the online eCommerce proposition, using tools such as The Speculator (augmented reality virtual try on), Home Try On service (ability to try four frames at home for five days) and innovative new initiatives to materially grow our digital revenues.

You will be focused on delivering on the commercial targets, and creating an outstanding platform for building the brand. You will work closely with digital marketing agencies, product teams, and our content and creative team, as well as external advisors such as UX specialists.

This role would suit someone with the ambition and drive to make the site your own and take on significant responsibility. While you might not have all these skills today, you have an insatiable appetite to learn. We’ll continue to feed your hungry brain.

The role covers the following areas:

  1. Proposition and Merchandising – getting the right product promoted on the site in the right way
    Support the Commercial Director with day-to-day trading of Cubitts.com
    Manage, plan and deliver the product and marketing calendar online, including homepage and landing page creation
    Ensure the product photography and content reflects the key features and USP of the products
    Ensure effective merchandising of products/product categories, and continuous optimisation
    Compile accurate daily, weekly and seasonal reports on trading performance, identifying trends and opportunities
    Working with the Commercial Director to identify, develop and implement new innovative propositions
  2. Funnel and Experience Optimisation – continuously optimising and improving customer experience
    Work on agreed set of trading and customer experience KPIs including sales, AOV, engagement and dwell time, conversion, abandon basket rates, etc
    Work with digital designs and UX specialists to constantly improve the product conversion funnel from category view to product page
    Assist in ad hoc reporting requests to help improve overall understanding of digital performance.
    Use analytical platforms like Google Analytics to turn data into insight into action.
  3. Content – telling our story in a brand sensitive way
    Work with our content teams (art direction, photography, video makers) to ensure that our
    eCommerce site is consistent with our visual identity and high aesthetic standards
    Working with our copywriter to ensure the right copy is in place to effectively tell our brand and product stories in an engaging way, and consistent with our tone of voice
    Ensure the site remains SEO friendly
