This opportunity is for a talented and motivated Social Media assistant with 2-4 years Social and Ecommerce experience to join the marketing team and help build the miPic brand in the UK and scale the platform worldwide.

miPic.co is a social commerce print on demand platform that empowers creativity. Users can upload their pics and sell premium and affordable art, fashion and lifestyle products or merch earning money for free. Our platform is currently on Web and iOS iPhone App.
Think ‘Instagram meets Etsy’ – Users can Become the Artist or Designer and sell their imagery as print products or print their own.
Our Shoreditch based Startup launched in 2015 and proud winners of Virgin’s Voom competition pitching to Sir Richard Branson, which enabled us to complete a Crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to soft launch the platform in 2016. YOUR JOB
Social Media Assistant – based in Shoreditch and Liverpool St.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be primarily tasked to help design and execute communication across our Social Media channels, working alongside a Senior Marketing strategist and our CEO to promote miPic content through paid media campaigns.
- Social Media: Plan and schedule content calendar across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Instagram accounts.
- Email Marketing: Design and roll out weekly campaigns
- Respond to community and customer queries in a timely and effective way.
- You will be analysing communication between sales, tech and marketing to ensure alignment with product offering
- You will be tasked to grow the user base and content, building influencers partnerships and introducing the public to the miPic brand
- Blogging & Content: Curate engaging content for our blog to be promoted across the web
- Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong Experience of Social Media planning, scheduling via Hootsuite / Buffer etc
- Strong experience of Ecommerce and digital marketing
- Proficient in Excel / Word / Google Docs / Slack
- Have good writing skills – English as first language
- Knowledge of Photoshop, photo and movie editing for asset creation
- A keen eye for photography, art and fashion to understand our user base
- You must be a pro-active do’er – This is no corporate job with corners to hide in, you must be a hustler and a hacker who thinks outside the box and can see ideas through to completion
- You must be able to present your ideas and communicate concisely before you drop the Mic (In other words, present like a rockstar)
- Have a huge appetite to hit the ground running in this role
- Ability to work as part of a team alongside interns,
