We launched 3 years ago in London. Since then, we have grown 15-20% month on month; expanded to 6 cities; tested over 100,000 homes; developed a customer experience that’s returning the highest NPS scores in the hospitality sector; and are on track to reach over £25M in annualised sales.

We’ve just closed a £14m Series B round of funding. Our focus for the next 12 months is on building an exceptional brand & customer experience; and maintaining hyper growth through an accelerated global rollout. This is where you come in.
The Role
You’ll own and grow relationships with our largest property partners – who account for roughly 30% of the homes on Plum. Your main objectives will be to grow our existing accounts (both in terms of stock and sales) and to sell into new partners.
Responsibilities
Perfect the sales pitch and collateral for large players in the short- and medium-term property market
Manage and close a pipeline of our most important prospects
Create an account management structure and process for our largest existing partners
Create the KPIs and reporting structure for large B2B sales and account management teams
Build the large B2B sales and account management team
Work with product to improve the experience and systems for large partners
Who we are looking for
You don’t need to have prior experience in hospitality or tech start-ups. The important thing is that you are:
Scarily ambitious and with an unreasonably high standard for what is good enough
Super entrepreneurial: You care about getting things done – and when obstacles inevitably get in the way, you know how to hustle
Unbelievably persuasive: You are great at convincing and selling, both face to face and in writing
Target driven and intensely commercial
A sophisticated taste in design, interiors, food and cultural experiences
A leader who can manage their team for success
Someone who’s a great teammate and a positive, motivating person to be around.
Requirements
A salesperson through and through – passionate about and still motivated by the craft
Experience and a proven track record in B2B sales
Adept at managing a longer sales cycle and negotiating complex contracts
Proven track record of building long-term, productive B2B partnerships
Experience in a high-growth environment, able to adapt to change quickly
Experience in a luxury and design-centric business is beneficial
A skilled leader and communicator – comfortable motivating and inspiring sales teams
Experience managing high-performing small teams of salespeople, ideally across multiple markets
Experience building and developing teams from the ground up, with an opinion on what works for team structures, incentives, KPIs, and culture.
