About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team in London to own the exciting and fast paced relationship with GoPro, one of our primary accounts. This role will be focussed on managing GoPro’s eBay and Amazon businesses currently located in the regions Asia Pacific (Japan, Australia, China and Singapore) and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy & Spain).
The role covers the following key responsibilities:
- Consulting, managing and servicing GoPro, fielding and actioning a number of their daily requests.
- Working directly between GoPro and Amazon/eBay to agree priorities and deliverables.
- Being resourceful and entrepreneurial in order to leverage the GoPro brand and drive sales across all platforms under management.
- Develop and grow strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively manage multiple aspects of the GoPro e-commerce business throughout the different platforms, ensuring sales targets are met and brand strategy is correctly implemented.
- Work with the internal operations team to assign tasks designed to support your activities.
- Co-ordinate with our Japan based team daily to ensure requests and strategies are implemented at a local level.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tasks to ensure the smooth running of your accounts.
- Analyse e-commerce data, make suggestions and decisions relating to the needs of your clients to influence their Amazon and eBay strategies.
Deliver weekly and monthly e-commerce platform insights, reports and analysis to your key contacts.
Explore new opportunities to grow and develop the business in new and existing markets, including deploying the brand on new Amazon platforms as they launch.
Occasional travel to meet face to face with your clients, including the chance to travel to Asia.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent verbal and written communication. A real communicator, especially over the phone.
- 3+ years of professional experience in account management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, ability to work with large data sets.
- Sound business acumen – can build strategies and concepts to fit a client’s needs.
- Ability to think commercially in order to monetise opportunities for both Vyper and GoPro.
- E-commerce experience required, preferably working with Amazon and eBay.
- Knowledge of Amazon Vendor and Seller Centrals.
- Self-starter and self-motivated individual, with an entrepreneurial mindset that can be used to creatively drive growth on their accounts.
- Being able to work in a small and fast paced entrepreneurial start-up environment.
- Highly organised and able to multitask without any loss of output or focus.
- Eager and able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
